GW&K Investment Management Grows Private Wealth Team

BOSTON, MA – October 18, 2022 – GW&K Investment Management (GW&K), an entrepreneurial-driven investment management firm offering active equity and fixed-income investment solutions to meet the needs of a diverse client base, today announced that Scott R. Peterson has joined the firm’s Private Wealth Client Service team as Vice President, Relationship Manager. He will be based in the firm’s Boston headquarters.

In this newly created position, Peterson will leverage nearly 30 years of client relationship management and financial planning experience. His responsibilities include providing customized investment solutions and wealth planning guidance. Peterson will report to Dan Fasciano, Director, Private Wealth Management, who joined GW&K last year to lead and expand the firm’s wealth management business.

Prior to joining GW&K, Peterson was a Senior Portfolio Manager at BNY Mellon Wealth Management. In this role, he managed over $700 million of investable assets for high-net-worth relationships. Before that, he was an Executive Director at JP Morgan Chase & Co., and a Senior Vice President at GE Capital Corporation. He began his investment career at Bank of America/FleetBoston Financial.

Peterson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Tufts University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Boston University. He is a CFA® Charterholder and has earned the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designations.
