Brian oversees risk management, portfolio construction, and performance analysis for GW&K’s taxable bond portfolios. He works closely with portfolio managers to maintain the proper implementation of investment plans for our taxable bond strategies. He also provides credit research coverage for the Financials sector in both the investment grade and high yield market segments and specializes in analyzing and managing GW&K’s preferred stock holdings. Brian is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Most recently, he served as a trader executing trades across all asset classes managed by the team. Brian started his investment career at GW&K in 2010 as an account specialist in the operations group and was later promoted to a senior client service associate on the client service team.
Brian received a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University. He has earned the CFA® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
