Tom is a partner and co-CEO of the firm with responsibility for GW&K’s sales, marketing, client service, and product functions. He also is a member of the firm’s Executive, Management, Investment and ESG Committees.
Tom joined GW&K in 1996 to lead the firm’s sales and marketing effort where he was successful in establishing relationships with institutions, consultants, advisors, RIAs, and family offices on a national scale. As the company and assets under management grew, he helped to transform GW&K’s sales team, marketing department, and relationship management to meet the demands of a diversified firm. In 2006, Tom was appointed co-president of the firm responsible for establishing GW&K’s strategic plan and managing the firm’s business. Prior to joining GW&K, Tom held sales and marketing roles and was a vice president at The Boston Company.
He received his BA in Economics from Boston College.
Tom is actively involved with the Capuchin Franciscans, a religious order of Franciscan friars within the Catholic Church founded in 1525. He sits on the Development Committee and chairs the Investment Committee.
I think we have a special culture at GW&K. It promotes intellectual curiosity, team-centered problem solving, a strong work ethic, and thinking about the investment markets with an entrepreneurial perspective. These characteristics contribute to the high-caliber and long tenure of our investment and management teams.
